One Hood Solution - Countless Options

Based on the original first generation F-body hood, this 100% digital design is modular to allow users the options to build a hood that fits now and for future revisions. When you order your hood and any of our center or side vents, we will custom trim the hood to accommodate those vents as part of the manufacturing process.

All vents added to your hood attach by bonded studs that secure your vent to the hood and are removable to allow you option to update your hood over the years with different fabrics, finishes and new vent designs as they are released.

Everyone involved in the design of this hood solution owns a first generation F-body and is aware of the historic issues factory hoods have and the full potential of what these beautiful cars can be with a smart solution.

What makes this hood unlike any other on the market?

This is the only hood available with a modular design that will allow builders the ability to swap center or side vents with endless options of fabrics, finishes or even custom options.

• The Cowl dimensions were raised to a generous 2.5 inches tall, widened and extended to the front header panel to give the car a low a wide look wile providing additional room under the hood.

• Digitally Perfect - Our hood dimensions were digitally perfected through 3D scans and CNC machining to assure our hood is 100% true from corner to corner, unlike the factory or other reproductions.

• The Underside is a complete reimagined landscape intended to be a beautiful platform to show off the beauty of the composite materials used.

• Additional adjustment was added to the hood hinge mounting pads giving builders the ability to adjust the hood down even further than the hinge adjustments provide.

How to order a fully customized hood

1. On this project page, select the clear coat finish options for your hood.

2. Then, browse to the product page for a center vent, side extractors, or both, and customize those pieces for your order.

3. Place your order for the hood and any vents desired in the same order.

4. Your hood will be manufactured specific to your order and any center or side vents ordered will be automatically installed at the time of manufacturing at no additional charge.

Finish Options

Top Skin Options:

• Non-Cosmetic Carbon Fiber - For builders who plan to paint the hood and do not intend any of the carbon fiber to be exposed.

• 2x2 Split-V Twill Weave - OEM Economy Clear - OEM orange peel finish with no more than 3 pinholes per sq ft. No imperfection greater than 3mm in the weave or clear coat. This is the best option for builders who plan to apply paint in some areas of the hood or plan to do additional clear coats on the truck. 

• 2x2 Split-V Twill Weave - Show Grade Gloss Clear - Clear coat is blocked and polished. No scratches, pinholes, haze or imperfections in the weave or clear coat. This is the best option for builders who want out-of-the-box beautiful high-gloss exposed carbon for a show vehicle. 

• 2x2 Split-V Twill Weave - Show Grade Satin Clear - No scratches, pinholes or imperfections in the weave, or clear coat. Top coat is not glossy. Some would refer to this as the ‘dry carbon’ look (but don’t get us started on that slang term).

Bottom Skin Options:

• Standard plain weave carbon fiber with a satin look finish straight from the mold.  No need for additional clear coat protection since the bottom of the hood is not exposed to constant UV sunlight.

Shipping charges will be provided separately from the hood purchase.

• After your hood is near completion, we will contact you with Freight shipping options for your approval.

• Once you approve the option, we will email an invoice to collect freight shipping that you can pay online.

• When the shipping fees are paid, we will finalize the booking for pickup by the Freight shipping company and forward tracking information to you.

• Shipping will need to be paid in full by the customer before the hood is released to the freight company for delivery.

Installation Notes

• Under no circumstances should you even consider using stock hood hing springs with this hood. If you are going to run a stock hood hinge, ditch the springs before you even bolt this hood on. Otherwise, get fancy and go with an aftermarket hinge and the lowest-resistance gas strut they offer.

• Keep in mind that while all of the composite pieces we offer are crafted to be well-fitting on all vehicles, the manufacturing tolerances of older vehicles may require adjustments to ensure a perfect fit. These fenders WILL require some elbow grease to ensure a good fit.

• If you are not comfortable with fitting body panels or expect parts to magically drop perfectly in place, please don’t consider these fenders. We’ll both be happier that way.
